Paying for Your Medication

Paying for your HIV medications can be a challenge, but there are many resources available to help you. Ask your doctor about ways to tackle the cost of HIV medication and also take a look at our list of programs and resources:

• Abbott Laboratories product access programs: We are proud to support numerous programs in the United States that help people pay for their HIV medications.
  
  
• Insurance: If you have an insurance policy, review it to see if your medications are covered. Policies vary, so be sure you understand yours fully.
  
  
• Medicaid/Medicare: If you qualify for Medicaid or Medicare assistance, your non-experimental HIV medications will be covered in full if purchased at Medicaid/Medicare-partnered pharmacies. Visit the Medicaid/Medicare government site, to find out more.
